Installation requirements for filters

1. Efficient filter installation conditions.

1.1 Before installing efficient filters, the clean room must be thoroughly cleaned and wiped clean. If there is dust accumulation inside the air conditioning system, it should be cleaned and wiped again to meet cleanliness requirements. If installing efficient filters in technical interlayers or suspended ceilings, the technical interlayers or suspended ceilings should also be thoroughly cleaned and wiped.

1.2 The clean room must be sealed before installation, FFU installation is completed and running, the air purification system must be tested and run continuously for more than 12 hours, then the clean room should be cleaned and wiped immediately before installing the efficient filters.

1.3 The clean room must be kept clean and dust-free. All joists must be installed and leveled.

1.4 Installation personnel must wear clean clothes and clean gloves to prevent contamination of the box and filters.

1.5 To ensure the long-term effective operation of the efficient filters, the installation environment should not be in oily, dusty, or humid air. Filters should avoid contact with water or other corrosive liquids as much as possible to avoid affecting their effectiveness.

2. Guidelines for unloading and handling high-efficiency filters.

2.1 High-efficiency filters are packaged with multiple layers of protection when they leave the factory. When unloading, please use a forklift to remove the entire pallet. Care should be taken to prevent the goods from tipping over, and to avoid severe vibration and impact.

2.2 After unloading, the equipment should be stored temporarily in a dry, ventilated indoor area. If outdoor storage is necessary, the equipment should be covered with a tarp to prevent rainwater from entering.

2.3 Due to the use of ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper in high-efficiency filters, the filter material is prone to breakage, leading to particle leakage. Therefore, during unpacking and handling, the filter should not be tipped or crushed to prevent severe vibration and impact.

2.4 When removing the high-efficiency filter, do not use a knife or sharp object to cut the packaging bag to avoid damaging the filter paper.

2.5 Each high-efficiency filter should be handled by 2 people, wearing gloves. The process should be done with care, holding the filter by the edges and not touching the protective net or filter paper with bare hands or sharp objects, and avoiding twisting the filter.

2.6 Filters should not be stacked but placed horizontally in an orderly manner against a wall, neatly arranged for installation.

3. Installation precautions for high-efficiency filters.

3.1 Before installing the high-efficiency filter, it is necessary to inspect the appearance of the filter, including the filter paper, sealing gasket, and frame for any damage, and to check if the size and technical performance meet the design requirements. Filters with severe damage to appearance or filter paper should not be installed.

3.2 When installing, only hold the edges of the filter, handle with care, and prevent strong vibrations and collisions. It is strictly prohibited for installation personnel to touch the internal filter paper with fingers or other tools.

3.3 Pay attention to the direction when installing the filter, ensuring that the arrow on the edge of the filter frame points outward, in the same direction as the airflow.

3.4 During installation, do not step on the filter protection net, and do not discard debris on the surface of the filter. It is prohibited to step on the filter protection net.
