Reliable AMC Control for Critical HVAC Systems
The DSX Box-Type Chemical Filter is specifically engineered for installation in Make-Up Air Units (MAUs) and centralized air handling systems. It effectively removes acidic gases, alkaline compounds, condensable VOCs, and dopants – safeguarding sensitive manufacturing processes (e.g., semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and food processing) while maintaining a healthy indoor environment.
Manufactured with robust materials and precision media formulation, this filter delivers high adsorption capacity, low pressure drop, and extended service life, making it a cost‑effective choice for continuous clean air supply.
| Parameter | Details |
|---|---|
| Frame Material | Galvanized steel or SS304 stainless steel, reinforced with pull strips for structural rigidity |
| Gasket Material | Chemical‑free EPDM (no outgassing) |
| Sealant | Chemical‑free PU (polyurethane) – ensures zero contamination |
| Standard Sizes | Available in industry‑standard dimensions; custom sizes offered upon request |
| Media Type | Tailored blended adsorbents (activated carbon, ion‑exchange resins, permanganate‑based, etc.) depending on target pollutants |
High Adsorption Capacity – Reduces replacement frequency, lowering total cost of ownership (TCO).
Low Operating Cost – Optimized media density minimizes airflow resistance, saving fan energy.
Durable Construction – Corrosion‑resistant frame and sealing materials ensure long‑term reliability in harsh environments.
Customizable Media – Formulated to match your specific contaminant profile (acids, bases, condensables, dopants).
Easy Maintenance – Slide‑in design fits standard MAU filter racks; no special tools required.
Environmentally Friendly – All materials are RoHS‑compliant and free from hazardous volatiles.
Compliance Ready – Meets ISO 14644 and SEMI standards for cleanroom air filtration.
Our filters are designed to tackle four major AMC categories commonly found in industrial outdoor air:
| Category | Description | Typical Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Acids | Corrosive gases acting as electron acceptors | HF, HCl, H₂SO₄, HNO₃ |
| Bases | Corrosive gases acting as electron donors | NH₃, NMP, amines |
| Condensables | High‑boiling‑point compounds that deposit on wafers | Siloxanes, plasticizers, organic solvents |
| Dopants | Impurities that alter semiconductor electrical properties | Boron, phosphorus compounds |
By targeting these four groups, the DSX box‑type filter ensures stable process yields and operator safety.

Semiconductor Clean Room Solutions

853(2750) filter material - to remove volatile organic compounds, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, sulfur oxide. This filter material is the most effective for removing volatile organic compounds, and it also has a considerable capacity for common outdoor pollutants such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, sulfur oxide. This filter material is also very effective in removing boron.
875(2751) filter material - used to remove acids such as hydrogen fluoride, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. This filter material is also very effective in removing sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, and hydrogen sulfide (better filtration effect than 853 filter material).
Both 147 and 875 media can also remove VOCs.However, the capacity (service life) is reducedto 1/2 as compared to 853 media.

These results can be compared by determining the amount of gas,in parts per billion(ppb).adsorbed in the media over the time period measured and expressing the result inppb-hours.Good performance would be found when much of the gas is adsorbed overlong time periods.

Pressure Drop of Competitive Pleated Filters
The pressure drop of DSX filter is lower than that of the filter from Company A.

Comparison of the adsorption capacity of DSX chemical filter and Company B's filter for hydrogen sulfide. The DSX chemical filter has better absorption capacity and efficiency compared to Company B's filter.

The DSX chemical filter has good efficiency for nitrogen dioxide, acetone, hydrogen chloride, and glutaraldehyde.
